Hello, everyone!

How have the first two weeks of 2025 been for you? I truly hope this year brings you nothing but the best and helps fulfill the dreams and hopes you’ve been holding onto. I know it might be a little late, but I still want to say: you did incredibly amazing last year! Thank you for making it this far, for staying true to your path, and for continuing to move forward.

This isn’t exactly an update on a new piece of writing, but more of a small announcement about what’s coming next on my Medium. Basically, it’s just me sharing my thoughts.

Before anything else, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Last year was the first time I truly committed to writing, with a small hope that my words might someday reach others. Honestly, I used to think it was a silly dream. My first posts barely got any claps. Then, one day, someone shared my work on TikTok, and it went viral. I couldn’t believe it.

Since then, I’ve received so many claps, heartwarming comments, and even messages from people who took the time to reach out on Instagram with kind words. Some of you have supported me consistently, and I can’t express how much that means. It’s proof that even in a world that can feel harsh, there are kindhearted people who are willing share their goodness with strangers.

Thank you, truly.

Since December, I’ve been incredibly happy because one of my year-end wishes came true. I’m endlessly grateful to God for that. But even with this happiness, I’ve found myself feeling a little unsettled. I can’t explain exactly why — I’m happy, but I’m not sure if I’m at peace.

Whenever I feel this way, I turn to certain verses in the Quran for comfort. Reading those verses always brings me a sense of calm, even if just a little. And because writing has always been my way of processing emotions, I’ve decided to share some of those verses, along with my personal reflections, here on Medium.

This new segment will focus on self-reflection through the lens of Islam. I’ll share verses that hold deep meaning for me, even though I know every verse in the Quran is valuable in its own way. My hope is that these reflections will resonate with my fellow Muslim readers who might also feel lost or overwhelmed at times. And let’s be honest — quarter-life crises are no joke!

As Muslims, we have the Quran to guide us, and I find it deeply reassuring to know that God has already provided answers for so many of our struggles. I believe writing about this is my way of connecting with that sense of peace and perhaps sharing it with those who need it, too.

These posts will be tagged with a taggar of #FaithandLife in the title, so if this isn’t something that resonates with you, feel free to skip those pieces!

I know not everyone will resonate with this new segment, and that’s okay. My aim is to reach those who might feel the same weight of uncertainty and need a little solace, just as I do. For those who aren’t Muslim or aren’t familiar with the Quran, I hope you’ll still find some of the reflections meaningful or thought-provoking.

That doesn’t mean I’ll stop writing about other topics! I will still share stories, essays, and personal musings as I’ve always done. This new segment is just another way for me to be authentic in my journey and hopefully provide something meaningful to others who may need it.

I know life can be chaotic and overwhelming, but I believe that words — whether shared through stories, reflections, or even just casual updates — can offer comfort and connection. Writing has been my anchor, and I hope it can be the same for you, whether through my pieces or your own! Thank you for staying with me through this long ramble! Your support means everything to me, and I want to give back through my writing.

Here’s to 2025 — a year of growth, reflection, and maybe even a little peace in between the chaos. Let’s keep walking our paths, finding purpose in the smallest things, and sharing kindness wherever we can. You’ve already made it so far, and I’m so proud of you for that.

If you have thoughts, suggestions, or anything you’d like to share, feel free to reach out or leave a comment. I’d love to hear how your journey is going, too. Until then, stay safe, stay strong, and keep dreaming.

With love and gratitude

Nabil.
